Drumline/Winterline

Drumline

The Drumline is the heartbeat of the Big Reds Marching band. They provide the rythm & cadence for marching both Parades & Competions and inspire the band to perform at the peak of their capabilities. Any band students interested in marching in the drumline should contact Mr Hoey to be included in this unit.

Summer 2010 Practice times set

Drumline & Pit units practice times have been set for the 2010 summer season. Practices are being held EVERY Tuesday from 6pm until 9pm. (see the calendar for any updates to scheduled practice dates/times.)

Winterline

In 2008, the Chippewa Valley & Dakota High School Winter Drumline was formed. The unit was made up of students from both high schools, and while competing in multiple winterline competitions obtained high marks during their inaugural year of competition.  The unit has expanded since then and grown to be a spectacular competition unit featuring students performing on many percussion instruments.

Many intense practices are required for the drumline members but they have a fun time while creating exciting shows. They really do put together a great performance. Members will be required to attend practices either before or after school.

Performance schedule information can be found in the website calendar.
