Fundraising

The fundraising for Chippewa Valley Instrumental music is run by the parents and supporters of the program. As an organization we rely solely on the generosity of our booster supporters to find/organize/manage the fundraising campaigns needed to keep our organization strong and vibrant. We attempt to budget for a certain number of events/fundraisers throughout the year in order to provide the resources that a strong program requires, but we cannot accomplish those fundraising goals without your help!  PLEASE consider how you can step in to help raise the funds we need, then volunteer!

We have General Fund fundraising which will benefit the entire band, drumline and guard OR we have Student Account fundraising that directly benefits the students individual account.

Fundraisers can be large events or can be individual fundraisers. No matter the size of the fundraiser they all contribute to our group and are needed each year to keep us going.

Fundraising Events

These large events contribute to the General Fund & require a large amount of booster support to make them successful.

These events include:
 - SMB Marching Band Invitational
 - CVHS Craft Shows (Fall & Spring)
 - MCGC WinterGuard/WinterLine Invitational

The monies raised from these events are needed to support everything we do: from music & equipment for the Concert bands to intructors, music,  unifoms & props for the Competitive units (like Marching Band, Guard, Drumline).

Individual Fundraisers

These smaller fundraisers generally contribute to Student Accounts and are optional for any parent or student to participate in.

These fundraisers include:
 - Entertainment books,
 - Cookie sales,
 - Pie sales,
 - Parisian coupons,
 - Bottle and can drives,
 - etc.

The funds raised from these fundraisers are directly deposited into the band accounts of students that participated and can help pay for individual student expenses.

Kroger Community Rewards

Kroger is committed to helping our communities grow and prosper. Year after year, local schools, churches and other non-profit organizations will earn millions of dollars through our Community Rewards Program. The Kroger Community Rewards Program was designed to make your fundraising the easiest in town by simply using your Kroger Plus Card.

Every time you shop at Kroger’s, using your Plus card, a percentage of your sales will be donated to the Band Boosters account.  If you provide your account number after you sign-up to the Boosters, a percentage of what your total spent (from 1-3%) will be credited to your students account; otherwise it will go to the general fund account.
