Marching Band & Concert Uniforms and Proper Attire

Note:  Marching Band requires an emergency contact form to be completed.

Football Games --
     1st game -- Summer Attire (weather permitting)
     All others -- Marching Band Uniform (weather permitting)

Competitions --
     Marching Band Uniform or Concert uniform

Parades --
     Labor Day Parade -- Summer Attire (tentative)
     Richmond Parade -- Summer Attire
     Thanksgiving Parade -- Marching Band Uniform (and lots of thermal under clothing)
    
Football games, competitions, and parades: ALL hair must go under the helmet – including boys. Students need to bring their own hair ties, clips, hair nets, bobby pins, etc. from home.

Football games, competitions, parades, concerts, and festivals: Jewelry and nail polish are not allowed. Leave all jewelry at home, students will be asked to remove it if worn. French tips are allowed as long as they are a light color. All other colors will be removed.

PARENTS: Please help your student out each time they leave for a performance. Ask them if they have their socks, shoes, white t-shirt, bobby pins, etc. We do not have enough extra uniform parts to lend out because of forgetfulness. If they come without the proper attire, they will be asked to call home for you to bring them their supplies.

CVHS Band Program
Required Uniform List

Summer Marching Uniform
White tennis shoes (no colors)
White socks (ankle length)
Khaki shorts (not shorter than finger
tips, not longer than knees)
**Red band polo shirt
**Red band hat
**These items must be ordered through the band
to ensure uniformity.

Fall Marching Uniform
**Black marching shoes
Black socks - socks must be mid-calf or knee high
Marching Uniform (provided by school)
Marching Helmet (provided by school)
**Black gloves
Black short sleeve t-shirt or **black show shirt
shirt must have some sort of sleeve, no tank tops or muscle shirts
(Show shirt: has the name of show for the year and the students names on the back)
**These items must be ordered through the band
to ensure uniformity. 

NOTE: Fall Marching uniforms, helmets and Concert 
     uniforms NEVER go home with students.

Colorguard Uniform
All black shoes (split sole or jazz shoes work best,
    anything all black that allows for easy movement)
Black socks (must be mid-calf or knee high)
​Marching Uniform (provided by school)
**Black long sleeve warm weather gear shirt
**These items must be ordered through the band to ensure uniformity 

Concert Uniforms
Dresses - Black palazzo (provided by school)
  Black stockings or socks (must cover ankles) 
  Black shoes (may wear marching band shoes) 
  Black scoop neck t-shirt only to wear under palazzo

Tuxedos- Black tuxedo jacket, pants, white tuxedo shirt, cummerbund and tie (provided by school) 
  Black socks (must cover ankles)
  Black shoes (may wear marching band shoes)
