Individual FundraisersThese "smaller" fundraisers are optional for any parent or student to participate in. The funds raised from these fundraisers are generally deposited into the Student Account of students that participated but sometimes are used to add to the General Fund as well. See each below to determine which fund it contributes to.
Entertainment BooksEach student is asked to sell at least two entertainment books each. The cost is $20 per entertainment book. $5 goes directly to the selling students Student Account per book. Books will be handed out during band class. Any additional books can be signed-out by students in either band room. Return all money collected to the fundraising boxes in either band room. Please make checks payable to CVHS Band Boosters. Please return any unsold books to either band room. MAKE SURE BOOKS ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH STUDENT'S NAME WHEN RETURNED. Students are responsible for any non-returned books. If you have any questions contact Lisa Kutskill for more information.

The raffle is being held on school property so no baskets can contain alcohol. The baskets should arrive by 6:30pm the evening of the concert. Each basket should be wrapped in cellophane, so that the contents are viewable and labeled with a short description (ie. “summer fun”, “golf” etc.). The baskets will be displayed in the auditorium lobby. Once you purchase raffle tickets you can “vote” for your a basket that you'd like to win by putting a raffle ticket in the basket in front of it. Raffle drawings will be made during the intermissions after each band performs. All funds raised from the sale of raffle tickets contribute to the General Fund.
3-digit Match gameThis is an easy way to raise funds for the Band Program. With strong participation, there is a potential to raise $8,000 for our band with each 3-digit match we run. Families are asked to sell a group of ten calendars. They are on sale for just $10 each. Matching is based on the Michigan Lottery Daily 3 (evening draw). If the number at the top of your calendar matches the Daily 3, then you win the prize stated on that day (either $50, $75, or $100). Sell calendars to friends, families, co-workers, etc. Anyone can play!! Please contact Karen Pietryka for more information. All funds from this fundraiser contribute directly to the General Fund.
DISCLAIMER: This fundraiser is in no way related to or affiliated with the Michigan Lottery. The Daily 3 is only used within this fundraiser as a fair way to draw numbers. Pie SalesSale of Achatz Pies contribute to the selling students Student Accounts.
